KIMBERLEY TRAVELLERS SERIES

Kimberley Travellers Series logo   The Kimberley Travellers Series is a set of small non-fiction books about the experiences of Kimberley people who have travelled to far-off places. The first two titles tell the stories of Indigenous travellers engaged in multicultural adventures overseas.

Jimmy and Pat Go to China

When Harry Went to India

When Harry Went to India and Jimmy and Pat Go to China are true accounts of visits to India and China by two Kimberley Indigenous men, in the company of the writers.  They include the men's reactions to these different cultures and comparisons they make with their own.

We believe these lively stories are the first of their kind, being truly multicultural and introducing young readers to other cultures and the excitement of travelling overseas from an unusual perspective.

These books are stimulating resources which will assist upper primary and early secondary students attain curriculum outcomes for Society and Environment.
